Was in heavy fighting until severely wounded at Bullecourt 3rd May, rejoining battery on recovery and serving until death. Promoted lieutenant, n th August, 1917. Killed in Action, Mericourt, 4th July, 1918, while in charge of four light trench mortars, and buried in Mericourt l 'Abbe Communal Cemetery Extension. Early education at Fort St. High School. His life was pure, he died as he lived |
