About Germany, Confederation of Jews, 1930-1944

The Confederation of Jews in Germany (Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland) conducted a wide range of activities, including supporting Jewish schools and orphanages. Later, under pressure from the Nazi government, it was involved in efforts to seize Jewish assets. It also became a repository for thousands of documents that have been recorded on microfiche. This database contains a list of people with files in the collection and the relevant fiche number.

Note that this index doesn’t include every name that might be mentioned in the collection. For example, it would not list the names of every child in an orphanage.
