Ó hUarghuis has also been mistranslated as Waters and Caldwell being wrongly taken as Ó Fuaruisce ‘son of cold water’. This name is very rare in Ireland. English: probably from Middle English tiding singular or plural ‘(good) news information’. This surname is very rare in Britain.
