Surnames: McNamara, Denby
Looking for information on ancestors of Fred E. McNamara and Esther Jane Denby from Perry Sound. They are my great grandparents. My grandmother was Rita Winifred a/k/a Winnie McNamara and she had one son, my father. Her brothers and sisters were Albert Lorne, John, Tina and Ernest. Any further information on great, great grandparents or cousins of my father would be greatly appreciated.

Rita W McNamara, b 14 May 1908, parents: F McNamara & J Denby, father is an engineer. Registration # 037729. Town of Parry Sound.

Albert Lorne, b 9 May 1910, Parry Sound.

Births are only released to 1912.
Last census was 1911.
I cannot find them on 1911 census but they should be around Parry Sound somewhere. If they were living and working on the railway, perhaps they were living in some remote area and were just missed.

They are living a couple of doors away from a Charles McNamara and his family so it could be Charles from 1891 census.

1881 census on
They are both free sites.

Thomas McNamara, died 15 Oct 1882, 78 yrs, b Ireland, farmer, died of inflammation, informant: Mrs Thomas McNamara, wife. Georgian, York North, Registration # 021857.

The only Mary McNamara I can find is this one.
Mary McNamara, 76, b Ireland, died 18 Dec 1888, died of old age, informant was a Dr Cassidy, Toronto York , # 015089.

Marriages of child/ren of Thomas McNamara & Mary Elves from

Joseph McNamara, 30, engineer, married Victoria Charpentier, 25, d/o Adolph Charpentier & Josephine Lalone, York County, 9 April 1907.

Charles McNamara, 34, widower, b Sutton Ont, teamster, married Florence Winnifred Reeves, 33, widow, witn: Pte P & Nellie Heeney both of Toronto, 22 Feb 1917, Toronto, # 001562.

Allan McNamara, 25, painter, married Sarah Burnett, 21, #001910, Toronto, 22 Feb 1905.

Both Charlotte and Sarah have the same parents so they are sisters or the same person and the registration dates are wrong. Parents are John Burnett & Agnes Graham.

Allan and Sarah had Vera Gertrude 22 July 1906, John Allen 8 July 1908 and Dora Mary Cecilia l June 1910.

Nothing with a wife named Charlotte. Maybe Allen and Alexander were brothers?

Here is 1901 census for the Burnetts.
Jno, Agnes, SARAH JANE b 27 May 1884, Martin L, William R, LOTTIE M b 14 Feb 1889, Maggie A, Hazel E, Mary D.

So there is both a Sarah and Charlotte Burnett.
