My great, great, great grandfather was born in Karlsruhe. His name was Georg Friedrich Haag, born 1806. His parents were Georg Bernhardt Haag and Friderika Friztin Haag. There may have been more children. Georg Friedrich's children were Mina, Augusta, Leopold and Heinrich "Henry". Henry was my great, great grandfather. Do any of these names match up with yours?

Hi I do not know if we are related but here is what I know. My ggg grandfather Andrew Haag was born in Baden Germany, he came to Ellis Island sometime in the 1800.s. It is said he was with his wife, but I believe it was his mother Maria Anna Haag. I have just started to research my family history. My gg grandfather was Daniel Haag. From What I can find he was the son of Andrew Haag. I also not sure Maira's name may have been Anna Maria Haag. I am still researching. So if any of this sounds familiar to you, please let me know. Thanks JT

I am a descendent of George Haag, who was born in Baden in 1836, and came to U.S. in 1842 with parents. He served in the Civil War and died in 1888. He was the father of 13 children, the youngest of whom was my father.

Hi Frank, Do you have the names of the 13 sibling of George Haag, and what was his wife's name. I have run across this name many times in my family search. My maiden name was Haag. Thanks for any help. Sincerely Joyce T

Thanks for your message. The wife's name was Victoria. Her maiden name was either Ai or Ay. She was from Bavaria. The children were in order: Willi, George, Josephine, Pauline, Agnes, Emma, Matilda, Louis, Emil, Louise, Helen, Otto, and Frank. The family settled in Buffalo County WI for a while and then moved on to Spink County, SD. I know a little bit about each one if anything rings a bell. Regards, Frank.
