I am a german journalist and author and have investigated the life of a boy called Ernst Lossa for a novel I wrote. The boy was born 1929 in Augsburg (Germany/Bavaria) and was killed 1944 by Nazi-Doctors in a lunatic asylum in southern Bavaria. He was one of approximately 200.000 victims of the Nazi euthanasia between 1939 and 1945. It's a very sad story. At present I am looking for a publisher for the novel.
During my investigation I found lots of documents about the family of Ernst Lossa. So his Grandfather, also named Ernst Lossa, was the brother of Georg Lossa (who was married with Paulina Bayer). The father of the boy was Christian Lossa, his mother was Anna Lossa. She died 1933 of consumption. The father was arrested by the Nazis in a concentration camp, where he died 1942.
There are still two sisters of the killed boy living in Germany, both over 70 years old. Unfortunately they can not tell much about their family, because they were babies when they were taken away from their parents.
