Thank you for your response. I have Hugh Hopkins Giles married to Mary Bizer or Polly Biser on January 3, 1822, in Franklin County, Ohio. The LDS lists both names; a book titled "Early Ohio Marriages" lists her name as Polly Biser.According to the LDS, they had a son, Isaac Giles, born December 17, 1822, in Franklin County, Ohio. I do not know if they had any other children.
Isaac Giles married Mary Jane Burbridge October 6, 1842 in Muskingum County, Ohio. They had one child that I know of, Kate E. Giles, born in 1845 in Ohio. Kate was my gr, gr grandmother. Kate married Amos Smith in 1871 in Canton, Fulton County, Illinois. Amos died in 1871, shortly before his daughter, Amy Giles Smith was born.
Isaac died sometime before 1849, when Mary Jane married Hosea Woodruff in Fulton County, Illinois. I know that Isaac was re-interred when Kate Giles Smith died in 1874. They are buried next to each other in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Farmington, Fulton County, Illinois. The cost of the re-interment was deducted from Kate's estate, and her will names her mother as Mary Jane Woodruff. I don't know where Isaac died. I know the Burbridge family emigrated to Fulton County, Illinois from Muskingum County, Ohio, in 1847. Any information you can help me fill in would be greatly appreciated.
