Ireland Vital Records
|
We have added more than 25 million new Irish vital records to our UK Heritage Plus and World Heritage memberships, making it easier for you to search for your ancestors from the Emerald Isle.
Search our new Irish Catholic parish records including Catholic Parish Baptisms, 1742–1881, Marriages and Banns, 1742–1884 and Deaths, 1756–1881.

There are also indexes to Ireland’s civil births, marriages and deaths from 1864 to 1958, as well as Ireland, Births and Baptisms, 1620–1911—a collection of more than 5 million births taken from church, civil, family and other records.

UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878–1960 |
|
If you have UK ancestry or family who visited the UK, you may find them in this collection. The UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878–1960 contains more than 16 million records and is an index to the Board of Trade’s passenger lists of ships arriving in the UK from ports outside of Europe. Information will vary depending on the record, but you may find the passenger’s name, age, arrival date, port of departure and arrival and vessel name. Start searching today.

If you're one of our many Ancestry.com.au members who has a great family story to tell and would be willing to share it, we'd like to hear from you.

|
Send us a brief account, in 150–200 words, of the ancestor you discovered and their personal story.
|
|
Send us your ancestor's full name and all key vital dates available—birth, marriage (when, where, and to whom), children, occupation, etc.
|
|
Include any historical records you've found through your search—birth, marriage, military records, etc.
|
|
Along with any additional mementos you've discovered along the way—photos, medals, awards, etc.
|
|
And lastly, don't forget to include your name, where you are from and your contact details including your phone number and email address.
|
|
