This is a collection of the colony's records in the civil, economic, judicial, police, penal, medical, ecclesiastical, and educational establishments. There are 28 different record types that are included in some form over the 35 years and also include a list of the officers in these areas.
The information that can be found in these records is usually the name of a person and their role in the government or their name and the type of business they were involved in with the government. Start searching now.

Australia Cemetery Index, 1808–2007 |
|
The Australia Cemetery Index 1808–2007 contains tombstone transcriptions from several cemeteries in Australia. We have recently added 166,929 new records to this index, bringing the collection to a total of 665,118 records. The information given for a record will vary but you may find the following—name, age, birth date, death date, burial date, name of cemetery, state in which cemetery is located, and location of grave or tombstone within the cemetery. |

U.S. Yearbooks Collection |
|
We've just released 24,000 more U.S. yearbooks with almost 4 million new images, and made searching them easier than ever. It now totals over 35,000, carries 155 million records encompassing the years 1884 to 2009 and is available to World Heritage members. The newly-updated U.S. Yearbook Collection is also littered with images of famous Americans from the last century including Madonna, Sean Penn, Garth Brooks, Alec Baldwin, Nicholas Cage, and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few. If you're one of our many Ancestry.com.au members who has a great family story to tell and would be willing to share it, we'd like to hear from you. |

Send us a brief account, in 150–200 words, of the ancestor you discovered and their personal story. |
|
Send us your ancestor's full name and all key vital dates available—birth, marriage (when, where, and to whom), children, occupation, etc. |
|
Include any historical records you've found through your search—birth, marriage, military records, etc. |
|
Along with any additional mementos you've discovered along the way—photos, medals, awards, etc. |
|
And lastly, don't forget to include your name, where you are from and your contact details including your phone number and email address. |
